Vegetable Squalane

Description

Vegetable Squalane  acts as a skin conditioning and moisturizing active. It is a photostable vegetable oil derived from olives. It mimics skin’s own lipids with the equivalent of human sebum and prevents insensible water loss (IWL). It possesses deep moisture retention properties. It is not heat sensitive & can be added into the oil phase before the emulsification. Due to its photostability, it can be used as an emollient in sun care products.  Vegetable Squalane is also used in skin care applications.
